These portable jib cranes feature a unique design that enables easy transportation with a fork truck. The empty base models come with instructions for proper concrete filling. The base measures 42-3/16' x 42-3/16' x 18'H or 36'H and has built-in fork tubes (7-5/8'W x 2-5/8'H usable on 24' fork centers) for fork truck transport. The fixed length I-beam can pivot 360 degrees for full access, and there's a 10' clearance under the I-beam. The upright vertical column bolts to the base. They're made of steel with a blue painted finish and ship knocked down. Note that they're not for use as a fork truck attachment. There are multiple models with different capacities, I-beam lengths, and base heights. For example, the JIB-CB-25-8-10 has a 250 lbs capacity, 96' I-beam length, and 18' base height, weighing 981 lbs. The models with a concrete-filled base offer higher weights and similar capacity variations.

Using these portable jib cranes is easy. First, if you have an empty base model, follow the instructions to fill it with concrete. Then, use a fork truck to transport the crane as the built - in fork tubes make it suitable for fork truck use. Once in place, bolt the upright vertical column to the base. The I - beam can pivot 360 degrees, so you can position it as needed for your lifting tasks. When using, keep in mind that these cranes are not to be used as a fork truck attachment. For maintenance, regularly check the bolts for tightness, especially after moving the crane. Also, look for any signs of wear on the I - beam and the base. If the blue painted finish shows signs of chipping, you can touch it up to prevent rust. Store the crane in a dry place when not in use to avoid corrosion.
